Dear Colleagues,

Ozen Engineering is continuing its monthly webinar series on topics
related to musculoskeletal simulation. The next webinar topic and
time is listed below.

Webinar Topic:

Musculoskeletal simulation is a powerful engineering tool for
evaluating how the human body interacts with the environment. This
one-hour seminar is targeted at how musculoskeletal simulation can be
readily applied to enhance and compliment medical device simulation
and design. The design of a proximal radius fracture fixation device
is characterized to demonstrate the integration of musculoskeletal
simulation and finite element modeling. The everyday activity of a
wheel chair push exertion is used as input for evaluating the maximum
stress and fatigue life of the parametrically defined implant design.
The presenter, Dr. David Wagner, will also discuss how these results
and modeling paradigm can best be utilized with current optimization
