A postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline (sport and exercise science, human movement science) is essential. Applications from individuals in the early stages of their academic career (for example, those at or near completion of their PhD) and from more experienced academics are welcomed, with the successful applicant to be appointed at a level on the salary scale commensurate with their experience.

For an informal discussion about the post please contact Dr Neal Smith, Acting Field Leader in Sport & Exercise Biomechanics, Faculty of Sport, Education and Social Sciences, on 01243 816295 or e-mail N.Smith@chi.ac.uk.
