The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) at the
University of Florida is seeking to hire multiple tenured/tenure-track
faculty. Outstanding candidates at all levels will be entertained in the
Focus areas: energy, nanoengineering, biomechanical engineering, and
and controls. Candidates must possess an earned Ph.D. in Mechanical or
Aerospace Engineering or a closely related discipline and demonstrate
ability to create and sustain internationally recognized research programs
In their fields of expertise.

The MAE Department currently has approximately 52 faculty, 375 graduate
students, and annual expenditures in excess of $20 million. Persons joining
