*Postdoctoral research fellowship in the Sports Surgery Clinic and Trinity
College Dublin*

The Sports Surgery Clinic and Trinity College Dublin invite applications for
a postdoctoral researcher in the area of tissue engineering led by Prof.
Kevin Mulhall and Dr. Daniel Kelly. The research aims to augment healing
with cell-seeded scaffolds to deliver chondrocytes or chondrogenic precursor
cells to induce matrix formation and healing, and is funded through an Irish
Research Council for Science Engineering and Technology (IRCSET) Enterprise
Partnership Scheme. The project will be based on strong links between
biological performance and clinical need and the researcher will work
closely with other members of a multidisciplinary project team including
PIs, clinicians, and postgraduate researchers in the Trinity College Tissue
Engineering Research Group.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in tissue
engineering, stem cell biology, biomaterials development and in vitro
characterisation. Specific skills that would enhance a candidate's
application might include some of the following techniques: cell culture (in
particular stem cell culture), PCR analysis, histological techniques
(including immunohistochemistry), in vivo models, bioreactor technology,
scaffolds for tissue engineering, and mechanical testing of materials.

Please send applications (including a full copy of your CV) to
