Post-doctoral Fellowship Position

Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student
learning, research, health care, and service, is seeking applicants for a
postdoctoral fellowship position, funded by the National Institute of Child
Health and Human Development (NICHD; NIH), to study lower extremity movement
impairments in individuals with patellofemoral pain. Applicants should have
a PhD in one of the following disciplines or a related area: biomechanics,
kinesiology, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, exercise
science. Candidates should have exceptional organizational and
interpersonal skills. Experience in 3-D motion analysis methods is
preferred.

Research in the Musculoskeletal Movement Science Laboratory focuses on
identifying biomechanical mechanisms for lower extremity pain syndromes and
testing rehabilitation strategies for these conditions. Aims are addressed
using 3-D motion analysis, electromyography (EMG), muscle performance
testing, self-report measures of pain/function, and magnetic resonance
imaging.
