The University of Washington's Division of Physical Therapy invites
applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position at the
assistant or associate professor level. We are seeking a team-oriented
individual who wishes to join an outstanding faculty at this top-
ranked Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. An academic doctoral
degree (PhD, ScD, EdD) is required. Areas of particular interest
include clinical exercise physiology, wellness and health promotion,
and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. However, those with expertise in
other areas of physical therapy may be considered. The primary
responsibility will be teaching and research in the areas of
expertise. Additional responsibilities relate to the education,
supervision, and mentoring of entry-level DPT students and PhD
students in Rehabilitation Science.

Prospective candidates should be developing or have an on-going
research program. There will be support for research efforts, and
opportunities for collaboration within the Department of
Rehabilitation Medicine, as well as with the other university

This start date for this position is flexible; the earliest start date
would be fall 2010.
