We are organizing an exciting multidisciplinary research program 'Analysis
and simulation of human motion', in Leuven (Belgium) on September 13th -
15th, 2010. This symposium is sponsored by IUTAM (International Union of
Theoretical and applied Mechanics).

The final program with 6 thematic sessions covering aspects ranging from
motion analysis, personalized musculoskeletal modeling, graphical modeling,
simulation and outcome prediction is now available at

We welcome A. Leardini, M. Viceconti, F. Vander Helm , N. Badler, M. Pandy
and I. Jonkers as keynote lecturers. Their contribution is augmented by an
exciting program of invited lectures by experts in the field: A. Amis, S.
Banks, T. Besier, R. Boulic, E. Chadwick, F. De Groote, K. Desloovere, M. de
Zee, M. Gfoehler, R. Gill, M. Heller, J. Higginson, L. Kobbelt, T. Komura,
B. Koopman, S. Martelli, L. Menegaldo, V. Parenti-Castelli, C. Pelachaud, L.
Scheys, S. Shefelbine, F. Taddei, B. Taylor, S. Van Sint Jan.

A social program, including Belgian beers, will assist in providing
