SpineFX is a multinational Initial Training Network (ITN) funded by the Marie Curie's People programme and is centred on basic science and translational research between 7 industrial and academic partners in the area of spinal fracture.

The SpineFX ITN will deliver a number of workshops over the next 4 years which are open to other early career researchers, free-of-charge. The first of these courses concerns "Research Management Skills for the Biomedical Engineer" and will be delivered between 13th-16th July 2010 inclusive at the University of Leeds, UK. The course outlines is as follows:

Arrival 12th July 2010

The course is free, including accommodation, meals and course materials. However, the attendee is to make their own arrangements for travel to and from their host institution to the course venue including covering the costs. To allow the widest possible dissemination of materials from the course only two researchers from a given institution can be registered.
