View Full Version : Foot pressure measurement - Zebris or Novel?

We are actually planning to build up a laboratory for clinical and
sports (gait) analysis, probably using the contemplas software for 2D
motion tracking. For static and dynamic foot pressure measurements we
are thinking of getting one out of two possible systems: emed x platform
(from Novel: ) or the FDM SX plate from Zebris. Zebris uses a sum of
1792 Sensors (1 sensor per 1 cm²), Emed up to 6080 (4 sensors per 1
cm²).

Is 1 sensor per cm² enough? Does anyone have some practical experience
to share or advice which system would be best for clinical and sports
(gait) analysis in combination with the contemplas software?

Many thanks,

Brian H.
