Dear Biomch-L subscribers

The 2010 da Vinci Awards(r) is now accepting nominations.

These awards recognize the most innovative adaptive and assistive
technologies that enable equal access and opportunity for all people,
regardless of ability. These innovations play an important role in
helping people overcome physical limitations.

Since their inception, the yearly da Vinci Awards has become a
prestigious international symbol of recognition. The awards honor
individuals, organizations and corporations in the engineering,
construction and technical fields for innovative developments and
research in adaptive and assistive technologies that embrace the
"Universal Design Principle." This principle encourages the development
of products that can benefit all people, regardless of ability.

If you know an individual or organization developing products whose
outcomes are in line with any of the Universal Design Principles, we
encourage you to nominate them for an award. Your nominations can help
bring new enabling innovations to the masses.

Nominations are being accepted through July 31st, 2010 by nominating
your own product or suggesting a product you use or are familiar with on
our website.
