Postdoctoral Research Scientist

The Spinal Cord Injury Center of the University Zurich at the Balgrist
University Hospital is searching to fill the position of a Postdoctoral
Research Scientist in spinal cord injury research. The main focus of
this position will be to establish and lead the upper limb research
group. This will include basic science as well as applied clinical
research. You will supervise research projects, support master and PhD
students and be involved in the acquisition of research grants.

Candidates should have an established background in movement sciences,
neuroscience and/or neurorehabilitation or related disciples with
emphasis to human spinal cord injury research. The ideal applicant has a
very strong record of interdisciplinary work with physicians, engineers,
therapists and movement scientists. As this position includes contact to
patients, basic German skills are required.

The success of the Spinal Cord Injury Center Balgrist is founded on
collaborative work. You will be involved in ongoing projects with the
opportunity to develop independent projects. The ability to work
independently and as part of a larger team while coordinating multiple
projects will therefore be essential.
