Dear all,

Aalborg University in Denmark will host the second annual meeting of the
Danish Biomechanical Society on October 29, 2010. Detailed information
about abstract submission, the program and registration is available at:

A keynote lecture will be given by Dr. Mark Lake from Liverpool John
Moores University. His research has focused on lower limb loading during
human locomotion with reference both to sporting and clinical applications.

The Steno Prize lecture (a price for a person who has contributed
significantly to the biomechanics field in Denmark) will be given by Dr.
Michel Dalstra from Aarhus University. His areas of expertise are dental
and tissue (especially bone) biomechanics, as well as the biomechanics
of orthopaedic implants.

The annual meeting will be combined with a PhD course/seminar the day
before (October 28.) called "From Motion Measurements to Modelling in
Biomedical Research" where national/international experts will be
invited. A social event for both the seminar and annual meeting
participants will be organised in the evening at October 28.

We are looking forward to a nice event.
