SENIOR LECTURER IN STRENGTH & CONDITIONING AND
BIOMECHANICS (PROGRAMME LEADER FOR MSc
PROGRAMME IN STRENGTH & CONDITIONING) (Ref 1743)

The School of Science at the University of Greenwich (Medway
Campus) would like to invite applications for a Senior Lecturer in
Strength & Conditioning and Biomechanics position at the Centre
for Sports Sciences and Human Performance to contribute to the
Teaching, Research and Enterprise agenda of the Centre, and to
lead the new MSc Programme in Strength & Conditioning.

You will have a PhD in Sports Sciences, Exercise Sciences,
Kinesiology, or related areas, a detailed knowledge of the area of
Strength & Conditioning and Biomechanics, and a specific
Strength & Conditioning accreditation (UK ASCC and/or CSCS).
Teaching experience in Research Methods and Statistics will be a
very relevant background for the post. You will show evidence of
published works, and excellent writing skills, team work abilities,
working independently, statistical knowledge and good
organisational skills.

It is strongly desirable that you have had prior experience in
Strength & Conditioning coaching, exercise testing and
prescription, and Biomechanics teaching, at least at undergraduate
level. You should be able to work independently as well as co-
operate with other members of the Centre’s team.

Salary: £38,921 - £47,115 per annum inclusive
