(Full-time, fixed term appointment for 3 years)

Biomechanics Laboratory
Institute of Sport, Exercise and Active Living (ISEAL)
Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia

Applications are invited for a post-doctoral fellow to study biomechanical feedback techniques to improve gait function. This multi-disciplinary project will be undertaken by an experienced research group with specializations in biomechanics, sensor technology, motor control and computer modelling. Under the research teamís supervision the Research Fellow will conduct human experiments, analyse and model the biomechanical data, and prepare the research results for publication. The research will be carried out in the Biomechanics Laboratory of Victoria University which houses state-of-the-art equipment for gait and movement analysis.

The candidate must have a PhD in human biomechanics, movement/exercise science, biomedical engineering, or a closely related field. Experience in human gait data analysis and modelling would be an advantage.
