The School of Sport and Exercise wishes to recruit an energetic, enterprising team member to research and teach in Sport and Exercise Science.

You will be part of Massey's highly-regarded Exercise and Sport programme within the newly formed School of Sport and Exercise, located on the Wellington Campus. You will work with a team to design, prepare and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the wider discipline of Exercise Science.

You will possess a PhD, with teaching experience and an active research programme in the area of motor control and/or biomechanics, or a closely allied subject area.

Experience in University-level teaching and curriculum development, both internally and also ideally by distance education, is one key requirement of this position. You will have demonstrated the potential to work within a team of academics. A demonstrable research profile, such as research publications and grant acquisitions, is also a requirement.

The level of appointment will depend upon research record and teaching experience.
