The International Society of Biomechanics is pleased to announce two student events taking place at the XXIIIrd ISB Congress in Brussels.

The student dinner event will take place on Monday 4 July from approximately 16:00 – 23:00. The event will include a guided tour of the chocolate workshop, Chocolaterie Duval (www.chocolaterieduval.com) followed by dinner at the restaurant, Et pourquoi pas? (www.etpourquoipas.be). The guided tour of Chocolaterie Duval will also include a chocolate making demonstration, chocolate tasting and the opportunity to make your own chocolates. Dinner at Et pourquoi pas? will be followed by a symposium on manuscript writing and the peer review process.

A mentoring luncheon will take place on Tuesday 5 July from 12:30 – 13:30. The purpose of the mentoring luncheon is to meet with senior researchers in the field to discuss your current research projects or research interests. Students and mentors will be matched by area of interest for one-on-one or small group discussions. This is an excellent opportunity to receive input, discuss research and network with senior researchers in the field.

The ISB student events are only open to current ISB student members attending the XXIIIrd ISB Congress. To become a member of the ISB, please visit our membership page at: http://isbweb.org/membership.
