A research assistantship is available in the area of bone biomechanics at
West Virginia University, Department of Orthopedics and Department of
Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. The applicant should have a strong
desire to pursue solid mechanics research in this area. The position
requires experimentation and analysis to measure bone fracture behavior and
will also involve biochemical and morphologic analysis of bone. The
position includes a monthly stipend and full tuition waver. Expected start
date is late fall semester or by January, 1995. Seeking Ph.D. level
