SICOT FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

Applications are invited for these scholarships, which will
provide three years free membership of SICOT. The objective of
the scholarships is to encourage membership of the society by
well recognised orthopaedic surgeons holding leading positions
in their own country but prevented by local economic difficulties
from renewing or applying for membership of SICOT. Successful
applicants will enjoy all the benefits of the society over a
triennium.

This is a limited attempt by the SICOT Foundation to support
deserving orthopaedic surgeons on a temporary basis to enable
them to be members of SICOT. The next triennial congress of SICOT
will be in Amsterdam in August 1996 and it is hoped that scholars
will also be allowed free registration at this meeting.

Those wishing to apply should submit two copies of their
curriculum vitae to

SICOT Headquarters
rue Washington 40, bte 9
B-1050 Brussels
Belgium.

Details of the economical situation in their country, age,
salary, country of origin, past publications and present
orthopaedic appointment must be included and will be taken into
consideration.

A.J. HALL
Secretary General.
