Dear BIOMCH-L netters:

TOPIC: Need info on buying a camera to add to existing gait setup.

This posting is targeted at people using Motion Analysis of any kind.
We are looking for info on buying a "fifth" camera for our existing four-
camera Peak Performance System. We had very limited success (in terms of
information) talking to "independent camera vendors" local to Cincinnati.
It would be very useful to tap into the vast readership of this net and
share similar experiences. I'll be compiling the responses as usual.

Specific Requirements for the camera:

(1) Genlock capability
(2) Preferably 60 Hz (to keep the price down!)
(3) Should have visibility in poor light, when using a infrared light source.
(Note: Lens can be purchased independent of the camera unit - prices please!)
(4) Should have multiple shutter speeds (1/500, 1/1000,...)
(5) Standard mount for the lens.

It would be helpful to have the (1) Name/addr. of the source
(2) PRICE RANGE if known
(3) Make/model of the camera AND lens

Note: The IR source being used currently is in the form of two IR light
sources with each camera, each using a single 120 watts light bulb.

Thank you for your valuable time.
