Dear Subscribers:

Let me introduce myself. My name is Dan Marshall and I am interested in
pursuing a
position in a Biomechanics related field. I am asking for help in
identifying any leads or
possible openings in such areas as Sports, Medical, Industry, etc.; where I
might gain
experience in biomechanics before I begin graduate school in a few years.
Also, I would
be interested in receiving advice from anyone that has a similar background
as mine
regarding how they progressed in this field, (education, experience, etc.)
especially any
biomechanical engineers.

Brief Background:
I graduated in December with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a recent
emphasis in
Biomechanics. I have served as a research assistant with the Penn State
Biomechanics Lab
under the direction of Dr. Richard Nelson. I also have experience working
as a process
engineer for W.L. Gore & Associates. I have completed a wide range of
including Mechanical Systems Design, Sport Biomechanics, Robotics, Material
and various Computer classes. I have an extensive leadership background and
am involved
in many activities including academic, athletic and community oriented groups.

I would be glad to send a resume to anyone who is interested. I may be
contacted either by
e-mail, U.S. mail or by phone. That information is listed below.

Let me take this opportunity to thank you in advance for any job leads or
advice I receive.
