Dear subscribers,

although I agree with Dan Levine that the discussion about Positive
work in cyclic motion , and the previous discussion about
"Work in tethered swimming" are probably not interesting for most subscribers
of BIOMCH-L, I believe that the topic was pure bio-mechanics (namely, I
would define it bio-dynamics), and not thermo-dynamics. Therefore it
was proper to discuss it on BIOMCH-L, in my opinion.

The discussion was about the application of the concept of work
to the human motion, specifically to swimming.
