RE: International Symposium on 3-D Analysis of Human Motion.
Montreal, July 1991

FINAL ANNOUNCEMENT OF SYMPOSIUM:

As Chair of Scientific Committee of this Symposium I am posting some details
and the provisional program. The purpose of the meeting is described briefly
at the beginning of the Program. Note that a large amount of discussion of
papers is planned, and there will be a special Round Table on Standardization
which is intended to complement other work in this direction (by ISB, and by
European groups, who will be represented). The program of the Symposium
indicates a broad participation by scientific discipline and by geography.

INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON 3-D ANALYSIS OF HUMAN MOVEMENT
PRELIMINARY PROGRAM

28-31 July 1991, Montre'al, Quebec, Canada (Ho^tel des Gouverneurs, Place
Dupuis)

The International Symposium on 3-D Analysis of Human Movement will be a
scientific and technical forum for investigators of human motion, whether
their work is applied to the study of musculo-skeletal disability or disease,
sport and elite performance, or basic studies of biomechanics or muscle
physiology. By generating further communication and contact between
investigators in diverse areas, this meeting encourages discussion to cross
boundaries between scientific disciplines and specialities. The Symposium
will be directed at sharing information and results relating to philosophies
for solving problems of measurement and analysis, rather than only delivering
recent research study findings.
