PhD. Graduate Research Assistant

Job Description: This is a research position to assist in a
project with the objective to develop quantitative methods to
evaluate impacts of alternative engineering design concepts in
soft system knowledge issues. Work will also include assisting
in the development of teaching materials or an undergraduate
capstone Engineering Design course series.

The incumbent will enroll as a graduate student in the PhD
degree program of the department and fulfill degree requirements
as expected in the graduate studies. A part of the work in the
project may be accepted as dissertation research by
the advisory committee.

Qualifications: BS or MS in an Engineering field with emphasis in
mechanical systems. Some design experience is preferred.
