Graduate Student position

We have recently received a grant to study methods to combine
medical image data with continuum mechanics modeling to allow
the solution of otherwise ill-posed problems in biomechanics
and bioengineering. There is support for a PhD level (or
advanced MS) student in bioengineering to participate in this
research. We would like to fill this position immediately.

The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in
biomechanics, medical imaging, and computer modeling.
Fortran/C programming experience desirable. Must be eligible
for admission to the Bioengineering Graduate Program at the
University of Utah. Interested individuals should forward
their resume or CV, research experience and interests, and
GPA/GRE scores to one of the following individuals (email ok):

Jeffrey A. Weiss, PhD
Research Assistant Professor, Department of Bioengineering
University of Utah
Orthopedic Biomechanics Institute

Richard D. Rabbitt, PhD
Associate Professor, Department of Bioengineering
