International Society of Biomechanics Technical Group on the
3-D Analysis of Human Movement

The International Society of Biomechanics Technical Group on the
3-D Analysis of Human Movement provides a forum for the discussion
of all issues relating to the measurement of human movement in three
dimensions. This is achieved primarily through the organization of
international conferences, typically every second year. The group owes
its existence to the efforts of Paul Allard, who organized the first
meeting in Montreal in 1991, and helped with the organization of the
subsequent meetings in Poitiers, Stockholm and Grenoble.

The International Society of Biomechanics recognized the organization
as a Technical Group in 1995, and the first organizational meeting was
held in Grenoble on July 1, 1996.
