Is anyone aware of research on the relationship between anthropometric
characteristics, bicycle frame size/design, and performance? Specifically, has
it been demonstrated that frame length...relative to trunk and arm length,
influences such factors as energy cost, low back muscle fatigue, power output,
etc.. Additionally, is there a standard generally accepted way of determining
"fit" with respect to frame length? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
Chuck Armstrong
