CLINICAL GAIT LABORATORY CONFERENCE

October 31 - November 2, 1991

Presented by Children's Hospital

CALL FOR PAPERS
You are invited to submit papers for presentation at the Seventh
Annual East Coast Clinical Gait Laboratory Conference.

Papers should be original abstracts covering the biomechanics of
human movement with emphasis on gait analysis.

Requirements for Abstracts/Presentations:
* Maximum abstract length is four 8-1/2" x 11" pages including
references, figures, and tables. Presentations are limited
to 10 minutes followed by a 5 minute question and answer
period.
* Titles must include authors and affiliations.
* The authors mane and the page number should be written in
pencil on the back of each page.
* Format: Typed, single-spaced, double space between paragraphs;
flush left; left-justified with ragged right margin; 1-1/4"
left margin; 1" top, bottom, and right margin; no staples.

Conference sessions will cover clinical interpretations of gait
data and biomechanical applications of gait analysis.

Specific topics to be examined include:

* Case Studies: individual presentations and collaborative
efforts
* Controversies in the use of motion analysis (pro & con)
* The necessity of gait analysis in clinical decision making
* Interpretation techniques standards in gait analysis
* Economic problems/solutions and motion analysis administration
(quality improvement programs, etc)
* Balance an stability
* Biomechanical applications
* Analytical methods
* Electromyography

DEADLINE DATES: August 1, 1991 Submission of Abstracts
September 15, 1991 Notification of Authors
