Dear Fellow Subscribers,

I thought some of you or your colleagues may be interested in
some pre- and post-doc positions that we have at the University
of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. Here is an advertisement
that recently appeared in IEEE Engineering in Medicine and
Biology Magazine:

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of
Virginia invites applications for pre- and post-doctoral
fellowships in advanced research training in Rehabilitation
Engineering. Candidates should be committed to a career in
Rehabilitation research and we particularly encourage women and
under-represented minorities to apply. Rehabilitation
Engineering is a multidisciplinary research program with faculty
in several departments in both the Schools of Medicine and
Engineering. Applicants should send a Curriculum Vitae, a
statement of research interests and the names of three references
capable of judging research potential to: Dr. Milton Adams,
Biomedical Engineering UVA, Box 377 HSC, Charlottesville,
Virginia 22908.

Since I am one of the co-investigators on the grant, I would be
pleased to hear from anyone who might want to work with me in the
area of gait and locomotion. Unfortunately this grant, which is
under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Education, is only
open to US citizens or those who already hold the Green Card.
The post-doc pays up to $35K p.a. so it's not to be sneezed at!
Milton and I can be contacted via e-mail as follows:
