This is a question on behalf of a clinical group of paediatric
physiotherapists, and i would be grateful for any response. I hve run for
them as extensive search as possible and have 2 good article ('88 & '90) and
3 less useful one. so we have tried!

To get children into a standing frame is difficult. To keep them there and
occupied is difficult , yet the procedure is frequently suggested
(clinically) as an agent to change tone.
>From the little research i have found I am asking the questions: Is it
really worth doing?
Has anyone undertaken research on standing to change tone / spasticity in
the legs of children with CP; w.r.t. the duration and daily frequency of
application?
I will post any response to the list. Thank you Sally Ruston
