RESEARCH ASSISTANT (Full-time ) in Neural Control of Movement

We are inviting applications for a full-time Research Assistant Position in
our laboratory, which is located in the Department of Kinesiology at the
University of Colorado in Boulder. The successful applicant would be expected
to contribute to several different ongoing projects in the laboratory in the
field of the neural control of movement. The Research Assistant will be
assigned such tasks as developing graphics for slides and figures, assisting
with experiments, recruiting subjects for experiments, maintaining the
for the laboratory, performing library searches, and ordering supplies.

Applicants should have a bachelor's or master's degree (or training) in one
of the following fields: biomechanics, biomedical engineering, kinesiology,
control,neurosciences, physiology. Furthermore, the successful applicant
must have outstanding communication skills (friendly, people-oriented) and
intermediate-level computer skills in word processing, spread sheets, graphics
(programming skills would be a plus).

The position will begin on December 1, 1996. The annual salary will be
