To all:

I am posting a message for a friend who is interested in the gait
characteristics of individuals with Spina Bifida. She is currently in her
4th year of Rehabilitation Therapy at Queen's University. When conducting
her original literature search specifying criteria she was interested in she
got very few references. When she broadened the search to gait and Spina
Bifida she was overwhelmed. Hence she has asked me to post a few questions
to individuals like yourselves who may be working in the area of Spina
Bifida and gait, or know of articles or conference proceedings that relate
to the following areas of Spina Bifida gait:

1. Spatial-temporal characteristics (stride length, speed)
2. Kinetic Characteristics (moments, power, energy costs)
3. Electromyography characteristics
4. Other gait deviations from the "norm" - treatment for the deviation if
appropriate

Thank-you in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide. I will
post a summary of the replies.
