DEPARTMENT OF KINESIOLOGY
FACULTY POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
1 YEAR INSTRUCTOR

The Department of Kinesiology announces the availability of a position
with a commitment to teaching excellence, advising, and service to the
profession in the area of motor behavior. The appointment will be for one
year, effective August, 1997.

The Department of Kinesiology, housed in the College of Education, has
approximately 75 graduate students and 350 undergraduate students.
Undergraduate students receive a degree in Kinesiology and may emphasize
fitness studies, human movement science, or sport studies. The masters
and doctoral students can specialize in exercise physiology, motor behavior,

Qualifications:

Earned master's degree in Kinesiology or related field.

Responsibilities:

(1) Teach undergraduate classes in anatomy and biomechanics
(2) advise undergraduate students interested in motor behavior
(3) perform service to the department, university, and profession.

Rank: Instructor

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Application Deadline: Evaluation of applications will begin May 31, 1997,
and will continue until the position is filled.
