JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN MOTOR CONTROL AND EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY IN
AUSTRALIA

The Department of Human Movement Studies at The University of
Queensland in Brisbane, Australia has recently advertised two
lectureship/senior lectureship opportunities to commence in 1998. One
is in the area of motor control and the other in the area of exercise
physiology. These positions represent wonderful opportunities to
work in an environment conducive to quality research and teaching.

LECTURER (LEVEL B) OR SENIOR LECTURER (LEVEL C) IN MOTOR CONTROL

(3 year fixed term)

Applications are invited for a new lectureship or senior lectureship
in motor control within one of Australia's premier departments of
human movement studies. The appointee will be required to teach,
supervise postgraduate research students and conduct research on the
control of human movement. Applicants should have a relevant PhD, a
proven research record and capability to attract external research
funding, and a demonstrable commitment to quality teaching.
Expertise in research areas which complement those of existing staff
within the department's Perception and Motor Systems Laboratory would
be advantageous.

Salary will be within the range: $43,601-$51,776 p.a. (Level B);
$53,411-$61,586 p.a. (Level C). Appointment will be initially for 3
years. A further tenurable appointment may be possible after this
initial period.

existing staff would be advantageous.

Salary will be within the range: $43,601-$51,776 p.a. (Level B);
