THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO
Department of Mechanical Engineering
and the Department of Biology

The Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Biology invite applications
for a Post-Doctoral Scholar to begin as soon as possible after January 1,
1998.

The position is funded by an NIH grant investigating the response of
tendon to mechanical stress. The specific skills required include the
design, construction, and operation of instrumentation, digital controls,
and computational programs for experimental measurements (LabView is
preferred). The Post-Doctoral position will run for one calendar year,
and applicants must have an earned doctorate.
