Please fine below the description of a lecturing position in Biomechanics
which I have posted on behalf of a colleague. Please respond directly to

LEVEL C: SENIOR LECTURER IN BIOMECHANICS


School of Physical Education, Exercise and Sport Studies
University of South Australia
Australia

Academic Level C - 3 year contract- tenurable
$ (AUD) 55,937-$64,500 per annum


The School of Physical Education, Exercise and Sport Studies is seeking an
academic at a senior level to contribute to its teaching and research
programs in biomechanics. The successful appointee is expected to play a
significant role in subject and course development and is required to
provide leadership in scholarly, research and professional activities
relevant to the discipline.


Essential criteria include:
PhD in biomechanics with expertise in physical activity or sport
Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at university level in biomechanics
Record of research publication at the international level and external
funding success
Outstanding computer skills

Desirable criteria include:
Computer programming skills and experience in Labview and Amlab
Experience in using multimedia in teaching and/or research
Knowledge of functional anatomy


Although the location of the position is the Underdale Campus, appointment
is to the
university and the appointee may be required to undertake duties at other
locations.
