University of Queensland Postdoctoral Research Fellowships for 1999

Applications are invited for Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in any
department/school/centre/unit within The University of Queensland.

Applicants must not have had more than five years' full-time
professional or equivalent part-time experience since the award of a
doctoral degree, as at 30 June 1998. Priority will be given to
applicants in the early stage of their postdoctoral careers.
The period of appointment will be for two years, commencing as soon as
possible after 1st January 1999.

Application deadline: 28th February 1998

Prior to applying it is imperative that prospective applicants contact
members of the appropriate department/centre or unit to obtain more
details of the department's research interests, and to ascertain whether
the department is prepared to support a candidate's application.
