We wish to announce that the following position has become available for
a biomedical engineer, biomechanist in the Boston area.

An exciting opportunity at SPAULDING REHABILITATION HOSPITAL for a
Rehab Engineer to manage hardware & software packages for the
Gait/Motiion Analysis Labs; ensure data collection for clinical &
research studies; integrate electronic instrumentation with motion
analysis equipment; write macros or programs within existing software
for on-going clinical & research projects; assist in the teaching of
students, volunteers and resident physicians data acquisition using BTS
(ELITE) motion analysis system; install software upgrades and implement
updated hardware; work closely with electrical engineer on various
electromyopgraphic projects; track Gait Lab invoices for clinical
budget; maintain an organized database of patient & research data.

M.S. in Biomedical Science, Engineering or Computer Science preferred;
thorough knowledge of IBM compatible computers, computer networks,
Windows environment required; at least one year's experience in motion
analysis, programming experience required.
