Dear subscribers-

I'm using the quasilinear viscoelasticity theory (QLV) to analyze
relaxation data of the rabbit medial collateral ligament. Across
studies reported in literature involving 'similar' tissues, parameters
C, tau1, and tau2 are fairly consistent, but parameters A and B differ
by several orders of magnitude: i.e., porcine ACL (Kwan et al, 1993),
A~200, B~0.6; canine MCL (Woo et al, 1981, 1982), A~0.2, B~160; human
patellar tendon (Johnson et al, 1994), A~1.5, B~54. Because of the
variation in my literature search, does anyone have any further
suggestions as to what would be expected for parameters A and B for the
MCL?
