The Movement Science Lab at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is
pleased to announce the availability of a one-year fellowship in the
field of pediatric movement and their disorders.

The Movement Science Lab is located in a modern, state of the art
facility. The lab is well supported financially and has an experienced
team of a pediatric orthopedist, physical therapist, biomechanist and
exercise technologist. The Hospital, affiliated with the University of
Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, has been providing free
care to patients with orthopedic and neurologic disabilities for 76
years.

Ideally, candidates should be familiar with kinematic and kinetic
measurement, have knowledge of static/dynamic mechanics and signal
processing techniques, and be able to apply statistical methods to
experimental design and data analysis. Candidates with an interest in
applying knowledge of expert systems, fuzzy logic and neural networks to
the study of human movement are urged to apply.
