Exercise Physiology Position Vacancy



Assistant Professor, Human Performance Laboratory and Department of
Exercise and Sport Science, East Carolina University. Nine-month
position effective August 17,1998. Duties include teaching graduate and
undergraduate courses in exercise physiology, directing student
research, conducting independent research, grant procurement, student
advisement, and university and professional service. Qualifications:
Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in exercise physiology or related
field; evidence of publication and grant experience; post-doctoral
experience preferred. The laboratory is currently involved in research
of cardiovascular disease and related risk factors such as obesity,
insulin resistance, and aging; an ability to contribute to these and
other areas related to metabolism and/or exercise is preferred. Submit
