Hello everyone:

I am posting this on behalf of the Research Center here at King Faisal
Specialist Hospital and Research Center here in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. In 1992 a
Biomechanics program was established here and an Optotrak motion analysis system
purchased from Northern Digital Inc. through Queens University Canada. The
system arrived here sometime in late 1992 or early 1993. The equipment was used
in the Biomechanics Laboratory for approximately five years to study motion for
various activities including gait and lunge movements. Regrettably the program
has since been discontinued and the hospital now has no further use for such a
system. We are therefore advertising the system to see if there may be
interested parties who would like to acquire a motion analysis system that is
used, but in excellent condition. I have worked with the system for the past
few years and can verify that it is in perfect working order.
The system itself is an active 'ired' marker system and includes the
following components:

- 2 Optotrak 3020 motion sensors (camera units) with stands
- 1 Optotrak System Control Unit
- 1 Optotrak A/D Unit
- 2 System calibration frames
- 2 AMTI force plates (#CR6-5) with amplifiers
- 24 ifrared emitting markers
- 2 DC belt packs and foot switches for heel strike recognition.
- PC adapter card and Optotrak software.

We would prefer to sell the system as a complete package. If anyone is
interested (or knows of anyone who might be) and has any inquiries regarding
more technical specifics or cost I can be reached at the email address given
below. Please note that I will be unavailable beginning July 10th up until
August 15th.
Thank you.
