BIOMECHANICS RESEARCH ASSISTANT:

Primary duties:
- recruiting volunteers for postural balance (moving
platform) experiments
- running the experiments and recording force plate, EMG and
kinematic data
- processing and analysis of data

Time commitment:
- 20 to 40 hours per week (negotiable);
contract will be for one year, possibly
renewable depending on availability of
funding

Salary:
- negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience
(maximum $15/hour)

Starting date: - ASAP

Requirements:
- experience in performing biomechanical or motor control
experiments with human subjects (ideally, elderly subjects)
- experience in using force plates, EMG and motion analysis
systems
- background in biomechanics of human motion and/or balance
control
