Exercise Science and Physical Education
(Assistant/Associate Professor)

Expertise in the motor control and learning area. Teach undergraduate (i.e.,
EPE 345 Motor Development and Learning) and graduate courses in motor
control and learning. Advise undergraduate and graduate students in
research. Conduct research and scholarly writing in the motor control and
learning area. Pursue external funding to support research activity.
Serve on various department, college, and university committees and be an
active participant in appropriate professional organizations.

Required Qualifications: 1) earned doctorate in movement science or
related field, 2) specialization in motor control/learning, 3) demonstrated
ability to conduct research in motor control/learning and evidence of
developing scholarship record appropriate to rank (e.g., research
publications, presentations).

Desired Qualifications: 1) college/university teaching experience, 2) record
of extramural funding, 3) interest in cross and interdisciplinary research
especially relative to biomechanics and/or the neurophysiology of movement,
4) ability to contribute to research methods and statistics instruction.
