DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL THERAPY

Full-time Clinical Faculty Position

The Department of Physical Therapy is seeking a Clinical Assistant or
Associate Professor to teach in the department's new professional education
program at the doctoral level. The position is a nine-month appointment
beginning September 1, 1999 with opportunities to do summer teaching.

New York University, a pioneer in physical therapist education, is one of
the four programs in the country to offer physical therapist professional
education at the doctoral level. Internationally recognized,
post-professional masters degree programs and a post-professional PhD
program, are also part of the Department's offerings. New York University,
the largest private university in the country, is located in a culturally
diverse and exciting urban environment.

QUALIFICATIONS: Physical therapist with an earned doctorate; experience in
teaching, clinical research, and clinical practice; eligible for physical
therapy licensure. Applicants with advanced master's degree and specialty
certification will also be considered. Preferred areas of expertise
include: musculoskeletal or cardiovascular and respiratory physical therapy.
