Dear Biomech-L persons,

I am trying to find a reference to the increased upper-extremity OA
risk factors associated with the use of jackhammers. Pubmed only
provides a single paper that is concerned with an isolated case:

Fam AG, et al. Unusual metacarpophalangeal osteoarthritis in a
jackhammer operator. Arthritis Rheum. 1986 Oct;29(10):1284-8.

Yet, several sources indicate that there has been a study, but do not
provide the reference. If, anyone knows of one, could you send the
details please.

Regards, Alex Kerin.
