I have 2 questions for the group. I am looking for references that report magnitudes of expected error for the inverse dynamic technique and for measuring anthropometric landmarks of the lower extremity. I believe that there are texts that have expected measurement error for anthropometric landmarks but I was not able to locate them.

I can find many studies looking at the differentiation problem and filtering techniques but have not found any that report magnitudes of expected error for kinetic variables generated from inverse dynamic models. This is not a simple question because there are many techniques and sources of error. I suspect that using generally accepted techniques and algorithms of commonly measured activities (gait etc.) that measurement errors of 10 - 20% would expected.
