Dear subscribers,

Thank you for not mailing any public replies to this offending posting.
This sort of thing is best ignored, at least in public. We do know
who did it and are considering what is the most appropriate action.

Please be aware that postings can always be traced, even when sent from
the hotmail e-mail system. Here are two excerpts from the Hotmail
web site:

At Hotmail, the registered first name and last name are sent with each email message,
no "handles" or nicknames are substituted. Furthermore, each email message sent
from a Hotmail account includes the Internet Protocol (IP) address from which the
login session originated. With this additional header information, the
source of a message can be narrowed dramatically. Hotmail records and stores all
logins, including IP addresses, dates, and times.

Member agrees not to transmit through the Service any unlawful, harassing, libelous,
abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectionable material of
any kind or nature. Member further agrees not to transmit any material that encourages
conduct that could constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or
otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law or
