POSITION AVAILABLE
BIOMECHANICS RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Primary duties:
1. recruiting volunteers for postural balance, gait and motor control
studies
2. running experiments and recording force plate, EMG and
kinematic data
3. processing and analysis of data
4. managing laboratory resources
5. teaching/supervising students

Commitment: full-time or part-time (negotiable)

Salary: negotiable, depending on experience and education

Starting date: negotiable (immediately, if possible)

Requirements:
1. experience in performing biomechanical or motor control
experiments with human subjects
2. experience with force plates, EMG and motion analysis systems
3. training in biomechanics of human motion and balance/ motor
control (MSc preferred, but others will be considered)
4. programming skills and/or electronics/mechanical hand skills
would be an asset
