The deadline for submission of papers for ISBS99 has been extended to

February 28th.

Some people wishing to present a the ISBS Symposium in Perth have
been caught by the innovation of reviewing papers rather than
abstracts. Therefore, some extra time is required in many cases to
get the paper into shape before submitting.

For these people a special 'fast track' review process will be used.
That is, the papers will be sent to reviewers who can turn the papers
around immediately.

Note that the 4 page paper should include an 8 line abstract and there
is no requirement for a separate abstract.

The papers will be PEER-REVIEWED by at least two reviewers who are
experts in the topic area and will be printed in Proceedings as well
as on the WWW. Therefore, the papers qualify as refereed scientific
publications (Australians note that this earns DETYA points).

Please send papers as an RTF attachment
to an e-mail to:

Please fax a 'paper submission form' to:

Fax. +61 8 9400 5717

The form may be found together
with details for formatting in the 'conferences'
section (under 'Perth, 1999') of the ISBS home page at:

That site also contains details of the scientific and applied
programs, workshop on data smoothing, and social activities.

The ISBS99 scientific committee looks forward to receiving your
paper and to seeing you in Perth at the ISBS99 Symposium from June 30
to July 6, 1999.
