View Full Version : Camera vibrations

A colleague of mine in a sports biomechanics lab has wall mounted
high-speed video cameras operating anywhere from 60-200 Hz. His problem
is that a mechanical HVAC room has been relocated to the room next-door
to his lab. His feeling is that when the compressors and generators
turn on, they vibrate one of the walls that his cameras are mounted to
causing problems in his already calibrated environment.

My question to you from him:

Has anyone found a way of dealing with this type of vibration or has
developed a mechanical wall mount that will negate the effect of
vibration on camera accuracy?

Any hints, suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Patrick
